This 9-hour bicycle tour is the perfect way to view the Cape Peninsula in just 1 day. This tour boasts a varied itinerary and is led by a FGASA qualified Nature Guide. In small groups of from 2 -20 people, discover the stories, facts and history of this idyllic area. Guests are met by the tour guide at their hotel in Cape Town.

You will travel to the Cape Peninsula National Park. On the way you will see African penguins at the Boulders Beach colony. There is also the option for a kayaking trip to see the penguins up close. If you choose to do so, you will leave from Simon’s Town Waterfront and paddle out to Boulder’s Beach. If the tide is right you may be able to stop on the beach for a swim, otherwise you can swim from the kayaks.

Once in the reserve, you have the choice of doing a 25 – 60 km bike ride along the peaceful roads leading to the Cape of Good Hope. From here you can enjoy a leisurely hike to Cape Point. Your guide will introduce you to the diverse fauna and flora of this region – the Cape Floral Kingdom. You will return to Cape Town along the Atlantic coast via Chapman’s Peak, Hout Bay and Llandudno, where your guide will show you the important historical sites and inform you of their history.
