VLOG 13 – Sunday Vibes + Red Lentil Vegan Recipe ($3 a Day – Vegan – Part 5)
This video definitely has a different vibe than everything we’ve made so far… it’s calmer, yet chattier and we hope you enjoy these Sunday vibes 🙂 The book we talk about is called Early Retirement Extreme by Jacob Lund Fisker. It truly is as magical as we claim in the video and we hope you take the time to get your hands on a copy so you can truly understand what it means to be a modern renaissance man. We didn’t get into all the nitty gritty of the book, but our key take aways from the book are think before you pay someone to do something for you – whether that is make your food, clean your house, fix your bike… He also asks you to question how much something is worth your time … think expensive kitchen appliance that you don’t use regularly or the extra spare bedroom in your house… how many hours do you have to work to pay for those things? to heat those rooms? to maintain the extra car? Well the title does have the word “extreme” in it… These ideas aren’t the easiest to digest at first, but if you want to own your most incredibly valuable asset, your time, this book gives you the roadmap to let you take back your life. We hope you enjoy our Sunday book review, simple lentil curry, and thoughts on living on less 🙂 Stay tuned for next week’s video to wrap up our month of living on 3 euros a day. We’ll have 6 videos in this series and we hope to cover not only how to make great tasting, healthy meals, but also fun things to do that are free, the struggles that come up and so much more. If you have any questions or suggestions for us please leave us a comment below! We absolutely love hearing from you and can’t wait to share more.
