India Venster Half-Day Hike:
Get breath-taking views of the city and rock formations of the west coast, and look across at Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. The hike will take 3-4 hours to reach the top, and another 1-2 hours on the flat to Maclears Beacon.
Platteklip Gorge Half-Day Hike:
Hike one of the most popular paths for stunning views of Lions Head, Signal hill, Devils Peak, Robben Island and more. It is a strenuous, but safe, hike that takes 2 to 3 hours to reach the top and another 1 to 2 hours to Maclears Beacon.
Lions Head Half-Day Hike:
Join this great walk for families to get panoramic views from 670 meters above sea level. Look down as the stunning beaches of Camps Bay and Sea Point. Take the adventurous path using staples and chains or the easier route if you prefer.
Kasteelspoort Full-Day Hike:
Trek through the Kasteelspoort ravine and continue along a meandering path to see spectacular cliffs and beautiful protea bushes. Be rewarded with the most impressive views of Camps Bay, and then make your way towards Woodhead Dam. Continue along the Valley of the Red Gods to the cable car. This hike can be undertaken by anyone who is reasonably fit.
Skeleton Gorge Full-Day Hike:
Hike from Kirstenbosch Gardens to the upper cable car via Maclears Beacon. Return down through Nursery Ravine and admire the indigenous trees and dense fynbos. Get fantastic views of Robben Island, Cape Town and the 12 Apostles.
