If you are in Zanzibar with a loved one do get them to take you to The Rock. They serve up some good sea food. Although the food is not out of this world, it was good and the setting and location of this restaurant makes it worth putting on top of your list of restaurants to visit and things to do in Zanzibar.
Moving on to 2024 and “The Rock” is still great and you will love it….. But, It’s all gone a bit posh and all priced in US Dollars. So what was a true bargain 5 years ago is now a $50 a head feast.
Nothing bad to say but it is more in line with Europe and the USA. On the other hand where could you eat in a place like this?
