When we got thinking about what would be the best way to hit 2016 running the first thing to came to mind was a Christmas present we hadn’t taken advantage of from last year. Lou’s parents gave us two 1-year-passes to all the National Museums in Berlin and somehow the whole year got away from us and we realized we had 3 days left until they expired!!! With our vlogging camera in hand, we decided to race around Berlin to see 12 museums in just 3 days. This video captures our whole adventure and I a proud to say our 2016 goals are already off to a great start! Below you can find the order of all the museums we went too. And for those looking for any recommendations of what to see, we definitely liked the first day the best – with Museum Berggruen and Hamburger Bahnhof being our favorites 🙂
Day 1 Itinerary MUSEUM BERGGRUEN, SAMMLUNG SCHARF-GERSTENBERG MUSEUM FÜR FOTOGRAFIE HAMBURGER BAHNHOF
Day 2 Itinerary BODE MUSEUM PERGAMON MUSEUM ALTE NATIONALGALERIE ALTES MUSEUME NEUES MUSEUM
Day 3 Itinerary KUNSTGEWERBEMUSEUM GEMÄLDEGALERIE MUSEUM OF PRINTS AND DRAWINGS
From now on we are going to be bringing you a new VLOG every Tuesday!! Like most people, the start of the new year inspired us to reflect on 2015. We are so proud of what we accomplished last year and can’t believe how many incredible people and amazing places we were able to capture and share with you. But…. 2016 has even more in store! We want to take you with us as we explore Berlin. We’ve lived here for almost 2 years, but still don’t really feel like we’ve put down roots because we’ve been on the road so much. So this year our goal is to get to know Berlin, the people, the streets, and so much more 🙂 And we’re so excited to bring you with us.
